How is monthly Fixed Asset depreciation calculated?

Monthly values show the monthly depreciation of the asset. Values are calculated by taking the total value of the asset and dividing it by the life of the asset. The depreciation values start on the In-Service Date and end after the number of months set within Life (if the Sale Date is not before the end of life).
